I led the evolution of new product screens into a robust design system, launching a dedicated site with component guidelines, processes, and roadmaps to ensure consistency across implementations. I established design governance within a complex, matrixed organization to unify fragmented experiences into cohesive user journeys, impacting 90+ designers and 55+ product teams. I pioneered Optum’s first UX Center of Excellence, creating a centralized resource for teams across multiple platforms, and developed a human-centered product design playbook to shift teams’ focus from outputs to outcomes, driving large-scale transformation. I coached product teams in piloting this new approach, providing guidance at every stage, while also managing escalations and fostering stronger UX and cross-functional collaboration. Provided strategic direction to designers embedded in over 12 squads, focusing on non-member and member experiences. My product portfolio included KP.org homepage, shop plans, national enrollment, guided member welcome, authenticated member dashboard and b2b self-service capabilities for brokers and employers. I collaborated with the leadership team (delivery, development, product) to align OKRs and integrate UX strategy with organizational goals, ensuring alignment with customer needs and project timelines. I guided designers on both north-star strategic initiatives and day-to-day UX activities, fostering a cohesive design approach. I spearheaded a shared services program and the program intake process to forecast where/how design and research can provide the most value. I also contributed to the transformation efforts around transitioning teams from a feature-focused approach to a Human-Centered Agile process.

I led UX efforts for a B2B suite of applications that empowered major concert and sports venues to create, manage, and sell events. I also spearheaded the user experience strategy for TradeDesk, a resale application providing brokers with marketplace, inventory management, point-of-sale, and CRM functionality. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and developers, I helped shape product roadmaps, strategies, and requirements. My work included conducting ethnographic interviews to understand user needs, creating wireframes and prototypes, and leading both in-person and remote usability testing. I provided UX direction to geographically dispersed development and QA teams, ensuring alignment on product functionality and experience. Additionally, I mentored designers and facilitated brainstorming workshops to enhance collaboration between UX, business, and development teams.

Led major redesign efforts for FoxNews.com and FoxBusiness.com, focusing on enhancing editorial publishing capabilities while driving continuous user engagement.
